In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, creator of heaven and earth; I believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord; He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended to the dead. On the third day He rose again. He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy Name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
V. The Angel of the Lord declared unto Mary:
R. And she conceived of the Holy Spirit.
V. Behold the handmaid of the Lord:
R. Be it done unto me according to Thy Word.
V. And the Word was made flesh:
R. And dwelt among us.
V. Pray for us, O holy Mother of God,
R. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
Let us pray: Pour forth, we beseech Thee, O Lord, Thy grace into our hearts; that we, to whom the incarnation of Christ, Thy Son, was made known by the message of an angel, may by His Passion and Cross be brought to the glory of His Resurrection, through the same Christ Our Lord. Amen.
O my God, I firmly believe that You are one God in three Divine Persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; I believe that Your Divine Son became man, and died for our sins, and that He will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe these and all the truths the Holy Catholic Church teaches because You have revealed them, who can neither deceive nor be deceived.
O my God, I love You above all things, with my whole heart and soul, because You are all good and worthy of all love. I love my neighbor as myself for the love of You. I forgive all who have injured me, and I ask pardon of all whom I have injured.
God grant me the serenity
To accept the things I cannot change;
Courage to change the things I can;
And wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
As it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
If I surrender to His Will;
So that I may be reasonably happy in this life
And supremely happy with Him
Forever and ever in the next.
Lord Jesus, I ask You for the gift of Your Holy Spirit to fill me with every grace and blessing I need for this day. I invite You, Holy Spirit, into all the areas of my life that need guidance and enlightenment. I give You my mind, my heart, my will and my whole being now and forever. May I be always open to Your help and inspirations. May my will conform to Your divine will. May You help me to be ever faithful to Christ and the people He has put in my path, my family, my friends and even those who have hurt me. Thank You God for the gifts and fruits the Spirit fills me with, may I always use them to strengthen and defend my faith. Amen.
Lord Jesus, I invite You into my life this day. I ask You to be my light and my guide. I ask for Your guidance and Your protection. Please help me and my family to stay on a straight path to a good and safe future. Thank You, Lord Jesus for Your loving kindness, and for everything in my life. Please help me to understand the plan You have for me. Help me to see You Lord Jesus in every human being who I meet this day. Help me always to be humble and to show humility at all times. Help me Lord Jesus to become the person, You want me to be. Jesus, I trust in You.
O God, great and omnipotent judge of the living and the dead, we are to appear before You after this short life to render an account of our works. Give us the grace to prepare for our last hour by a devout and holy life, and protect us against a sudden and unprovided death. Let us remember our frailty and mortality, that we may always live in the ways of Your commandments. Teach us to “watch and pray” (Lk 21:36), that when Your summons come for our departure from this world, we may go forth to meet You, experience a merciful judgment, and rejoice in everlasting happiness. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
