Heavenly Father, please be with me today as I serve at Mass. Thank You for giving me the great opportunity to serve You this day. Help me remember that as I serve the priest, I am also serving You. Please help me today, so I will not do wrong in church and later at home. Amen.
Lord Jesus, I know that every perfect gift, and especially that of chastity, depends on the power of Your providence. Without You, a mere creature can do nothing. Therefore, I beg You to defend by Your grace the chastity and purity of my body and soul. And if I have ever sensed or imagined anything that could stain my chastity and purity, blot it out, Supreme Lord of my powers, that I may advance with a pure heart in Your love and service, offering myself on the most pure altar of Your divinity all the days of my life. Amen.
Dear Jesus, please look after my grandparents. Help them to cope with the stress of life. I want them to embrace the things they love, without any worry or fear. I love them very dearly, and this is why I pray. Please God protect them, every night and every day. Amen.
Dear Blessed Mother Mary, help my mom to be a good mother. Give her peace and wisdom, strength and courage, grace and happiness. Be nearby when she needs help. Keep her close to your Son, Jesus. Help me to always show my mom how much I love her. Amen.
You take so much delight in our happiness and joy. Open our eyes, ears, and noses more to really see, hear, and smell the world around us—the flowers, the birds, the trees, the animals, and the fish—and the stirring of Your Spirit in our lives, so that our hearts can always live in the joy of Your Presence, as Jesus did. Amen.
Dear Lord, I worry so much about my future! Help me to see that Your plans are never bad or second best, but are always good and will help me live fully for You. Father, I want my search for the right course and college to demonstrate my trust and commitment to You and You alone. Lord of All Wisdom, help me accept Your advice and guidance and help me to live by Your truths. I promise I will try my best to listen to Your voice. And, with all my heart, I will strive to understand Your ways. Help me to respect You and put You first. When I do, I know I will have enough God-given wisdom to make the right choices. O Lord, open my eyes to see where You would lead me. Awaken my ears so that I would hear Your voice guiding me. Inspire my mind that I may comprehend Your love for me. Amen.
Dear God, thank You for the things we have learned, experienced, and discovered through this day. Help us to remember it all and use it for Your glory. Please bless our rest and sleep tonight, so that we can really enjoy our next day together. Amen.
Dear Lord, as I take this exam, I thank You that my value is not based on my performance, but on Your great love for me. Come into my heart, so that we can walk through this time together. Help me, not only with this test, but the many tests of life that are sure to come my way. As I take this exam, bring back to my mind everything I studied, and be gracious with what I have overlooked. Help me to remain focused and calm, confident in the facts and my ability, and firm in the knowledge that no matter what happens today, You are there with me. Amen.
Dear God, I thank You for the great time you have given me to enjoy. As I walk out to the party, be with me, Lord, in every step. I thank You for all my friends who will be there at the party, and I pray that they too will be filled with joy and peace. Help us to keep away from things that hinder the right spirit of enjoyment. May all our activities be one with Your goodness and love. Amen.

1. Give Thanks
God, my Father, I thank You sincerely for my life and all the good things You have given me. Thank You for giving me a home to live in and a family to love. I thank You that I am able to go to school to learn and grow as a person when millions of children around the world do not have access to education. I thank You, Father, for sending Jesus, Your Son, and for His death and resurrection through which I’m forgiven my faults and failures and granted eternal life (put small school problems into perspective). Amen.
2. Pray for Yourself
God, help me to be a shining light for You in my school today. Give me the strength to do the right thing and to live in a way that pleases You. Let me be a friend to those in need and place others always before me. Help me to treat teachers and other students with love and respect. Amen.
3. Pray for Someone Else
Bless my friend (Name/Names) and all the other students in my class. My loving Father in Heaven, I pray especially for (Think of someone—a friend/friends or someone you don’t yet know very well) that he/she/they will come to know Jesus. Lord, I pray for (Name/Names) that I will have patience with him/her/them and be able to love him/her/them. (If you find someone difficult to deal with at school). Lord, I also pray for (Name/Names) that I can get along with him/her/them and show him/her/them God’s love in action. (If you know someone going through a difficult time). Lord, I know You are with me and love me. Give me peace of mind as I prepare for this time of study. Help me to focus on my books and notes, and keep me from all distractions, so that I will make the best use of this time that is available to me. Give me insight that I might understand what I am studying, and help me to remember it when the time comes. Above all, I thank You for the ability to be able to study and for the many gifts and talents You have given me. Help me always to use them in such a way that they honor You and do justice to myself. Almighty Father, I stand before You on this lovely day to thank You for giving me such wonderful, loving, and caring parents. O God, who surrounds me with love through the friends who come into my life, let me not be deceived by anyone, but instead put my trust in You as I mingle with others. Help me, Lord, to choose the right friends to join me in walking toward You. May Your grace and peace flow abundantly in me and into all my friends whom You have chosen to be with me. As I share my joys and sorrows with them, strengthen me to speak about Your love and the amazing ways You are leading me. Amen.
Lord, I come to You despite all my weaknesses and iniquities. You know the deepest recesses of my heart. I completely surrender all my thoughts, words, and actions of this day. As I struggle to understand what is good and bad, let Your light enlighten my mind and help me to know what is right. I desire to take off my old self, corrupted by deceitful desires. God of Light and Truth, thank You for giving me a mind that can know and a heart that can love. Help me to keep learning every day of my life, for all knowledge can lead me to You. Lead me to be aware of Your presence in all things and at all times. Encourage me when my studies are difficult and when I am tempted to give up. Give me confidence when my brain seems slow to understand and the way forward is filled with struggles and challenges. Grant me the grace to fully express all the talents and gifts You have entrusted to me to explore the world You have created, certain that in Your love and goodness, all will be well in my life, according to Your Divine plan. Heavenly Father, as I struggle in these difficult times, I seek Your wisdom to make the right choice. Guide my thinking and sharpen my mind. Help me to choose wisely between the options that are set before me. Protect me from clouded judgment, and bless me with a sound mind. Lord, please help me to decide correctly so that all I do brings glory and honor to You. Amen.
Guardian Angel, watch over those whose names you can read in my heart. Guard over them with every care, and make their way easy and their labors fruitful. Dry their tears if they weep; sanctify their joys; raise their courage if they weaken; restore their hope if they lose heart, their health if they are ill, truth if they err, repentance if they fail.
O Holy Spirit, we praise and worship You. O Spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we praise You for Your boundless goodness and grace. Lord, sanctify our hearts from the malice of sin. Protect us from Satan and all evil spirits. Create in us a new heart, filled with holiness and purity. O Holy Spirit, set our hearts on fire with the love of God.
