Prayers

Lord Jesus, we praise You for Shalom World, the wonderful channel of evangelization that You have entrusted to us. Within a short time span, it has reached hundreds of countries and millions of families. We thank You for Your great love of this ministry. We pray that all doors be opened so that this tool of evangelization will be available in all languages and all countries. We believe and proclaim that nothing is impossible for You. 

Lord, anoint all the programs broadcast through Shalom World. We pray that the hearts of its viewers be filled with Your love. Let the sick be healed, the brokenhearted be comforted, and the possessed be delivered. And, above all, let everyone find hope in You. Bless the youth who watch the programs and transform them, so that they may be the bearers of Christ’s love. Let the whole world proclaim that Jesus is the Lord and Savior, and may all experience the profound love of God in their lives. 

We pray that Shalom World will always be committed to preaching the Word of God and remain faithful to the teachings of the Catholic Church. May this channel be Her voice in these troubled times. When the secular forces attack Her from all sides, help this channel to guard Her. When darkness troubles human lives, let this channel be a candle to spread light all around. Father, we pray for all those who work in this ministry, and all the Shalom Peace Fellowship members who support this ministry through their prayers, gifts, and financial contributions. Bless them and their family members, so that they always experience true peace. 

O loving Blessed Virgin Mary, the Heavenly intercessor of Shalom Media, and all the saints and martyrs of the Holy Church, pray for Shalom World. Amen.    

Jesus, we thank You for entrusting us with Your dream that is fulfilled through Shalom Tidings— a complete Christian magazine for the whole world. We praise and thank You Lord for raising up the banner of Shalom Tidings in 4 print editions and 12 languages, and thereby reaching out to millions of souls with Your life-giving streams of water that are replenished on every page of the magazine. We thank You for Your amazing grace that touches every life with Your words of comfort and peace. 

We pray for all our in-house writers across the world, contributing editors, editorial council members, designers, circulation managers, volunteers, and printers who incessantly work to bring this dream of Yours into reality. We thank You, Lord, for the digital platform of Shalom Tidings, the website, and App through which millions are inspired with powerful testimonies and reflections to come closer to You and be immersed in Your ocean of mercy. We thank You Lord for all the subscribers around the world who read the magazine and also distribute it to those in need. 

May Your healing love touch those who are in hospitals and nursing homes—all those who are sick and dying. May they feel comforted by Your presence. May Your light shine on those in the darkness of sin and ignorance, especially those who are going through depression, loneliness, and fear. May their hearts be filled with great confidence in Your providence. In a special way, we pray for the grace of conversion of hearts and offer all those who are receiving the magazine through prison ministry across the world. Let Your mercy cleanse them and make their hearts anew with the fire of Your divine love. 

O sweet Mother of God, to whom this magazine has been consecrated, we seek Your powerful intercession that all the work behind Shalom Tidings may come to fruition and millions be drawn to the amazing grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Lord Jesus, we lift up the Shalom World Prayer Network to You. We pray for the priests, nuns, consecrated brothers and sisters, and laypeople who have committed time to pray for the various needs of the viewers of the SW Prayer channel. We thank You for their love and generosity. Graciously hear their prayers for people who are hurting and in distress.  Protect all the SWPN members spread throughout the world from the snares of the evil one. Bless every area of their lives, so that all their work for Your kingdom will yield abundant fruit. May Your Holy Spirit fill their hearts with joy as He guides and leads them to serve You faithfully. We entrust into Your hands the religious congregations associated with SWPN and ask for an increase in vocations to these and all other congregations around the world. Lord, please grant us more holy families, priests, nuns, missionaries, and consecrated persons whose hearts are aflame with the fire of Your love. Amen.
