Witness to Love
Sep-Oct ’24

Witness to Love is a virtue-based, catechumenate model of marriage renewal and preparation. The initiative was founded by Mary-Rose and Ryan Verret in 2012. By integrating modern psychological principles with timeless virtues, this innovative approach equips engaged and civilly married couples to navigate life’s challenges with faith, hope, and love. The unique aspect of this ministry is the mentorship component, where engaged couples choose a mentor couple from their parish whom they admire and respect. This personalized guidance, combined with expert-led events, and comprehensive educational materials, empowers couples to build a strong, Christ-centered foundation for their marriage.

Book: The Miraculous Medal: Pendant of Power
Sep-Oct ’24

The Miraculous Medal: Pendant of Power by Christine Watkins compiles in detail the miracles associated with the Medal that have occurred since 1830. The book, published by Queen of Peace Media, begins by looking into the life of Saint Catherine Labouré, the apostle of the Miraculous Medal. Watkins tells stories of how, with time, the medal has helped people battle and defeat death, sickness, and despondency. The book stands as a powerful testimony of how Our Lady touched the lives of those in need, from the common man to canonized Saints. Through her book, Watkins proclaims to the world the intercessory power of Mother Mary before the Almighty and the graces that come along with the Medal. The book is available at queenofpeacemedia.com
